Local illustrator, and thoroughly nice fellow Sam Bassett, is currently exhibiting his new show ‘Truth had a Baby’ at the Orchard Gallery in St Ives.

Born in St.Ives (1982) Sam went on to study at Falmouth College of Arts and The Arts Institute Bournemouth. Over the past year he has been working on pieces both in London and back in Cornwall.

Sam’s real excited about exhibiting the newly concocted paintings and constructions he’s been working on up at his studio in Trewidden gardens, Newlyn.

The show opened on the 8th and is showing until the 29th August. So if you find yourself in St Ives or in the Pastyland full stop, head on down and check it out.

Sam ‘The Busy-boy’ Bassett will also be creating a piece for (and helping curate) our upcoming September show, ‘Autumnal’. Opening on September 11th we will be showcasing a series of limited edition prints from a range of local and international artists.
