Another day closer to the opening of ‘Autmnal’, another artist to profile!

Today it’s the turn of mega talented Mr. McCarthy, who after traveling the globe beautifying many a clump of bricks has finally settled in Qatar.

Me and Dale go way back, he’s is the first person I painted a wall with many many moons ago. Give the kid a pen, pencil or paint and he will dish up something hella slick- hell, give him some macaroni, some glue and a bag of glitter and he wouldn’t disappoint.

I have plenty of hilarious stories I could divulge about ol’ McCarthy, but we’ll save them for another time- Here’s a little bio on the jazzy so and so….

‘Dale McCarthy was born in South Africa in 1981, he currently lives and
works as an advertising Art Director in Qatar, a tiny peninsula in the
Middle East.

A modern day Jack of all trades, His talent spans across the visual
spectrum from filthy street style graffiti, photography, illustration,
animation, to polished digital artworking.

He thinks that mad stuff and shit on walls is the best thing since
sliced pitta bread.

He loves you, no matter who you are or what you do because he kind of
thinks that we are all one and the same.

His best friend is a set of bongos and an ipod stocked with dutty
reggae and old school hip hop.
