We are keeping things hot and crazy tasty this summer!

Following on from the superb ‘Face Off’ show from Klingatron and Smug we are mega excited to present an exhibition of work from illustrator extraordinaire Gemma Correll!!!!

Here is a little bit on the super doodler herself….

Gemma Correll is a freelance illustrator based in Norwich. She has worked for clients including Hallmark cards and Virgin holidays and has exhibited in various countries around the world. She is also the co-owner of Norwich-based retail concession Cherry Cherry“, which sells handmade craft products by independent designers.

Gemma’s influences include breakfast cereals, watching people out of the window and squeezing small animals. She is pleased to be exhibiting in Cornwall for the first time (her only previous experience of the county involved being attacked by a pasty-hungry seagull and dancing with a broom in a small cottage.)

Geeez…Gemma has to be one of the hardest working illustrators around!
What with running a retail outlet, dishing up images for many a publication and company – as well as displaying her work all over the world. We don’t know where she finds the time, but we feel extremely privileged that she has managed to fit in an show here at TSG, between exhibitions in London and Belgium.

The exhibition will consist of prints, original drawings, canvases, painted ornaments and embroidery … So pretty much everything! And the prices are super affordable too, items range from £10 – £200!

To celebrate the opening of the show we will be hanging out the bunting, getting the dollies out and having a Tea Party. Yeay!! Its probably a bit too hot for a cup of tea so we will be providing refreshment in the form of Pink lemonade and Pimm’s and suff…. Oh and probably some french fancies and a nice cake or two!
Gemma will be also be here on the night to say hello and have a chin wag about her work.

It would be great if you could join us for the opening party on Friday 3rd July, from 5 – 8 p.m.
It’s sure to be a fantastic show with lots of tasty treats to peep and eat!!!

If you haven’t made it down for an opening party before (it’s the social event of the month!)- you really should!!!!! We like to have a good old giggle, and keep it fun filled, so come on down and say howdy, and have some cake with us- we promise we won’t bite!
