Word up cats!
Just finished a commission piece for the owners of 'The Office'-a new swanky over twenty one, bar/club, opening up next week in Truro.
I had recently done a painting for one member of the family so they knew all about the souper style-and asked me to dish them up something killa to adorn the walls of their new premises.
It's basically a Office party in a stationary cuboard-and pretty much drew itself.
Check an appearance from everyones favourite mathmatical rapper-M.C Colin Calculus! Don't Test!
Sorry if the photos are a bit whak-the canvas was massive and all the characters are in chrome so light was bouncing all over the show.
And I seem to say in every post these days-if you want a custom piece, just holla at me!

What up team!
Just finished another pair of Vans ready for Attla X Soup Gallery's mega Xmas promo!
These fresh fizzers have a Soup and Attla drippy piece on plus the 'Sacre Bleu' chef going stir crazy swatting flies, and Fly Tony the most ghetto of bugs just stuntin' out.
As I said before these souper one offs will be available to buy real soon-I will keep you posted!

Word up people!
The two hottest shops in Truro: The Soup Gallery and Attla Snowboards, are collaborating over the festive period to bring you some souper fresh custom kicks and custom bags at a real nice price. Vans and Eastpak are letting us go buck wild with the pens, paint and spray to dish y'all up with some one off loveliness. Vans have never knowingly let artists customise their shoes before-so we are mega amped up to do some great stuff.
Along with yours truly, we have artists Jack Teagle and Ben Aslett (from the Poop in Soup Exhibition) and Attla have let their illustrator Dan Morgan out the cage, to join in the fun and games too.
There will be loads more on this over the coming weeks-and the shoes will be on display (and for sale) here and next door in Attla.
Oh, and on Tuesday 11th November@ the One Eyed Cat, Truro, Attla are premiering a HD film from Forum Snowboards (Forum or Against 'em), with DJ Dilla heading up the wheels of steel, and a mega giveaways from Attla, Soup Gallery and Thrilly. Should be a hoot.

Howdy people- we have some killer new magazines instore!!!
From now on The Soup Gallery will be slinging:

Hola! We had the private view for 'Poop in Soup' on Monday night. Was a rad night with a really good turn out-thanks to everyone who made it down. The show is ace-the guys went crazy painting the whole staircase, and there is loads of hot fresh work to be viewed in the gallery. Alongside the affordable prints and original artwork, the artists have even dished up hand painted T's, Zines, little books, action figures, plush toys, badges and even compact mirrors! So if haven't been in to see it yet-what the hell are you up to you melon?!! Get down here asap!

Starting on the 3rd of November is 'Poop in Soup', an exhibition showing a collection of work from some of the South West's most up and coming illustrators.
Exhibiting work are:
Jack Teagle, Ben Aslett, Clare Owen, Holly Dodd, Ben Wright,Jess Douglas, Chloe Ehninger and Donya Todd.
Its gonna be a regular feast for the eyes people-the artists involved are definitely ones to watch! Make sure you come down and check it out! ( The Private View is on Monday the 3rd of Nov. 6 - 8 p.m) Below I have dropped a little taster of whats to come!!!

Ahhhh, I have been waiting all week to post some flicks of these neck braking sneaks. J, the guy I did them for has just been in to get them, so I can post in the knowledge it won't ruin the surprise.....
J dropped in these Air Max 90s a little while ago-and it took me a while to get round to doing them, so I wanted to make sure they would be worth the wait.He let me do whatever took me fancy, he is a sneakerhead with a real passion for his kicks so I wanted to dish him up some head turners.
The soles were crazy multi-coloured so I matched the side with some cloud camo. A fiddly and time consuming job, but well worth it-they look sooo dope, (even if I do say so myself!) I almost wanted to keep them for myself.
Oh by the way-we have a custom kicks/art show in December from the ARTADE collective (I will be taking part)-which will defo be worth a look.

The FRESH threads have arrived!!!-Yes peeps, The Soup Gallery has NEW Injured Clothing in store now!!!
Largely designed by graphic artist, Josh Halloran-Injured Clothing is an established independent label based in Brighton and is all about supporting hip hop and the four disciplines.
Josh is originally from Falmouth, Me and him have been friends since He-Man hit the screens, we used to kick it after school with Sonic sessions on the Sega Master-system followed by a chippy tea from Old Hill fish and chip shop-(those were the days right there!)
So anyway-Josh moved up to Brighton after uni a few years back, where he is a graphic designer by day-but luckily for us he still finds time to bang out these killa T's.
These are super limited people-so cop 'em while they're hot!!!

Guten Tag! Wie Gehts?! Hello my beauties, how be 'un?! I thought I would blog it up with some pics of a custom T shirt I made last week for my old boss...
You see, back many moons ago, before your kid 'Soup' had a killer Gallery and shop in the Cathedral city, I used to be a Chef, cooking up delicious fish dishes for peeps at the Bistro De La Mer restaurant in Falmouth.
Way back when, a cockney ducker and diver named 'Old Mike' owned the place-
I used to draw throw ups in the order book he used to encourage me to make T's, canvasses and ish- and what do you know some 6 years later, after having my fix of split shifts (and working with uberchef 'Big Tony') I started up the Soup Gallery.
So 'Old Mike' pops in the other day and wants a custom one off T for his wife, Connie's, Birthday...So I knocked this cheeky number up, It was just made with spray paint and a stencil or two- It ain't super permanent, but it will last for a little while before fading a bit. Give it a go- it's great for a night out, or for making a colour coded T for them new sneaks you've got that won't match anything you have.
Geez...I have had a right babble there, sorry team!

Commission Piece....

Here are some snaps of a commission piece I did last week, for James, a jazzy teacher friend of mine.
It's entitled ' The big city chef mixes it up!' James gave me free range to drop what I wanted on the two boards, so I hit those bad boys up with a kinda skyscraper back drop, a bonza euro Soup piece coupled with a sacre bleu chef going crazy with a whisk.
I am loving the 'ces' violet from belton at the moment, that and zinc yellow are a match made in aerosol heaven.
Remember, we do stock Belton Molotow, so if you need the hook up, come check us!

YO! What up people....We had the private view for Louis' show, 'Songs of Freedom' on Saturday night, we had a good turn out and an enjoyable time was had by all, Thanks to everyone who came out to support, if you didn't come down-shame on you, and you best make sure you fizzin hit the next one!

Louis' work will be up until the 30th of October.

Opening this Monday(6th October), 'Songs of Freedom' a solo exhibition of original works based on music, culture and dancehall from Falmouth based artist, and founder of ARTADE, Louis.Lou.I. A.K.A Masai....
There is a private view on Saturday 11th of October from 6 p.m, when you can come check the work and have a chin wag with Louis, sip some vino and listen to some beats.
Hope to see you there, in the meantime have a butchers at the work on the ART ADE website....www.artade.co.uk
